Jeetu, a debt-ridden young man, is so frustrated with his financial problems that he attempts suicide by jumping into the sea. He is rescued by a fisherman and taken to his home, where Jeetu pretends to be deaf and mute to escape his creditors. His plan becomes complicated when he gets caught up in a series of misunderstandings and is brought into the household of a wealthy family. There, he meets Shruti, a young woman who is also caught in her own family troubles. As Jeetu's lies grow, a hilarious chain of confusion, romance and unexpected relationships unfolds.
