Sarrainodu (2016) is a Telugu action drama movie starring Allu Arjun, Rakul Preet Singh, Catherine Tresa and Aadhi Pinisetty. The story revolves around Gana, an ex-military officer who returns to civilian life after leaving the army and decides to fight against injustice in society. Unlike ordinary people, Gana believes in punishing criminals who escape the law through money, power and political connections. His life takes an unexpected turn when he falls in love with Hansitha Reddy, a powerful young politician who wants him to abandon his violent ways. However, his peaceful life is disrupted when Mahalakshmi, a young woman he once tried to protect, arrives seeking his help against Vairam Dhanush, the ruthless and influential son of a Chief Minister. Dhanush uses his political power to terrorize innocent villagers, seize farmers' lands and eliminate anyone who dares to oppose him. When Gana discovers the extent of Dhanush's crimes and the tragic truth behind Mahalakshmi's suffering, he decides to take matters into his own hands. What follows is an intense battle between a fearless former army officer and a powerful criminal politician, as Gana risks everything to protect innocent people and deliver justice.
