X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) is an American superhero action movie that explores the origins and early life of Wolverine, one of the most powerful mutants in the X-Men universe. Born as James Howlett in the 19th century, he discovers that he possesses extraordinary healing abilities and retractable bone claws. Alongside his half-brother Victor Creed, Wolverine experiences decades of wars and violence, but their increasingly brutal nature eventually drives the brothers apart. Years later, Wolverine is recruited into a special mutant team led by William Stryker, but he soon realizes that Stryker has a hidden agenda. After a traumatic experiment transforms his skeleton into virtually indestructible adamantium, Wolverine becomes more powerful but loses much of his humanity. Determined to uncover the truth about his past and seek revenge against those who betrayed him, Wolverine begins a dangerous journey that ultimately shapes the legendary mutant he will become.
