It (2017) is an American supernatural horror movie based on Stephen King's famous novel of the same name. The story takes place in the small town of Derry, Maine, where a group of seven young outcasts known as the Losers' Club are struggling with bullying, family problems and their own personal fears. Their lives take a terrifying turn when a mysterious clown-like creature named Pennywise begins haunting the town and targeting children by exploiting their deepest fears. When Bill Denbrough's younger brother Georgie mysteriously disappears after encountering the terrifying clown, Bill becomes determined to uncover the truth behind the disappearances. Along with his friends Beverly, Richie, Eddie, Ben, Mike and Stanley, he discovers that a deadly supernatural entity has been living beneath their town for centuries, awakening every 27 years to feed on the fear of children. As the group investigates the horrifying secrets of Derry, they must confront their darkest nightmares and overcome their fears to survive. But defeating Pennywise is not going to be easy, as the terrifying creature can transform into whatever its victims fear the most. Now, the Losers' Club must stand together and fight the ancient evil before it claims more innocent lives.
